Southern Spotlight- Jade Beckwith

Hey Y'all!

One of the best things about blogging is getting to share the interesting stories of my readers and friends. We all come from so many different walks of life but also want the same things in life- to be happy, healthy and to feel like our life matters.

This Southern Spotlight is near and dear to my heart. It is with great pleasure that I introduce Jade Beckwith. She is my gorgeous, wonderful, smart, funny, sassy, compassionate niece. I love her with my whole heart and am so proud of the woman has become. Also, I smile every time I hear her southern drawl. :) Take a closer look below...

Describe yourself in five words....

Outgoing, truthful, friendly, creative and helpful.

What is your favorite thing about living in West Virginia?

I love being so close to my family.. I also like to kayak and hike. West Virginia is the perfect state if you love the outdoors!

What is your decorating style?  A mix of contemporary and shabby chic.

Check out Jade's Pinterest Boards here.

You have planned several showers and social events (including weddings) for your closest friends. All of the events have been gorgeous! What do you like most about event planning?

I love to take someones vision and bring it to reality. It makes me so happy to see that vision come to life!

Here are a few pictures from the last event Jade coordinated...

Grad school is in your very near future. What do you plan to study? I'm looking very closely into an MBA program with a focus in either Human Resources or Marketing.

Where do you see yourself in five years? Hopefully, I will be living in the south near the coast. The Gulf Coast is my favorite!

What is your favorite color?

Pink of course!

What is your favorite season?

Summer! I love cotton dresses, sun hats, flip flops, funnel cakes and the warm summer sun. Summer is so laid back and everyone just seems to be in a better mood.

What is your favorite place to shop?

I love Macy's! I have also recently gotten into going to flea markets to find furniture to flip. It has become one of my favorite past times (other than cooking!)

You are a Disney fanatic! Tell my readers why you love Disney so much...

I grew up watching the beloved Disney movies and still watch them to this day. I believe Disney teaches us that anything is possible as long as you believe in yourself. No matter how old or young you are there is a Disney movie for everyone.

Disney is so much more than just movies. Walt Disney World is like a dream. Even as an adult the parks bring out the kid in me. I visit the parks as often as I can (at least once a year) and love every single minute of it. Disney parks are the happiest place on Earth ! Well for me anyway!
