Happy Fourth of July (weekend)! Having a few days off from work has increased my productivity at The House of Qs. It has been wonderful to sleep late every day, take my time with cooking and cleaning and doing things in my time.
I've even had time to catch up on my blogging and to set up the schedule for the next several months. A dear friend of mine from high school has a precious shop in our hometown. A spotlight on her business is a great place for me to begin this new schedule so here it goes!
I have known the shop owner, Paula for at least 20 years. She was (and continues to be) one of the nice girls that you could always count on for a smile and "Hey girl! How you doing?"
Paula owns a little store in Man, West Virginia named Antique Junkshun. She offers a wide variety of home decor items including yummy tarts and candles, as well as country, farmhouse and beachy-coastal casual themes. She has recently added handmade wood furniture pieces to her arsenal. I'm not surprised that she usually sells these items within a day!
Take a look at some of the items from Antique Junkshun:
Antique Junkshun is my go-to when I need fast gifts for people who live close by. I can always count on Paula to pick the best gift and deliver it on time and with a smile. She has recently started a wedding registry option for her local customers and shipping is available for smaller items.
A good friend of mine lost her mother a few months ago and I wanted to send something special for her to keep. We should all support local business whenever possible! Paula found the perfect items and delivered them on very short notice.

With warmth and love,
