Fall, glorious fall! I'm in love with this time of year. I was asked to bake a few things for a bake sale this Sunday and could not be more tickled to help out.
The goodies that I'm baking are chocolate chip cookies, white chocolate and macadamia nut cookies, brownies and my famous pound cake. Thanks to the wonders of Pinterest, I was able to find some really cute printables/templates that are editable and perfect to attach to the baked goods for the sale. I used a few of my favorite southern sayings, printed the sheets and used this Martha Stewart Paper Trimmer to get perfectly straight edges and lines.
You can find the blank labels at Cupcake Express blog. Here's how I added my own text to the labels.
Step 1. Save the food labels as a picture on your computer
Step 2. Open Microsoft Publisher and drop in the picture of the labels
Step 3. Insert text boxes on top of the labels and choose your font. I used Juice ITC in 24 font.
Step 4. Type in whatever phrases or sayings that you would like to use. Print these labels on card stock if you have it for durability.
It would be cute to add little pictures and use them as gift tags for the holidays. Use your creativity. The sky is the limit!
