Are You Ready for Fall?

Hey Y'all,

Even though it's still in the upper 80's here in Atlanta, the calendar is telling me that fall is right around the corner. This morning when I left for work, the temperature was only 65! I was elated with the cooler temperatures and can't wait for scarves, boots, fall decorations and bonfires!

As a blogger myself, I love to browse other blogs to get ideas for my own home. I found a wonderful blog titled The Opulent Cottage, written by a sweet gal named Andrea in Dallas, Texas. Andrea's style is cottagey, creative and easy on the wallet. She's an excellent seamstress which lends to her ability to have such a charming cottage which she shares with her sweet husband and fur babies. Take a look at the welcoming fall vignette that she's created in the picture below. I just want to curl up with my iPad and read a book on that little bench.

There are so many activities in the fall that all of us look forward to all year. Print this "bucket list' from PopSugar and check off as many as items possible during this fall season. Wanna take it a step further? Create a scrapbook with all the pictures you take while accomplishing your bucket list.

One other decorating idea that I found for the interior of our home is from Better Homes and Gardens.  I love this easy transition from summer to fall by just changing minor accessories.
